Within a two kilometer stroll a novice can identify an incredible biodiversity along an Algarve semi dry river. Carob bean trees, horse or elephant grasses, hidden mole holes, wild palm trees, the invasive brambles, snails resting on wild dill plants, oak trees with acorns, and Bamboo lining the river beds. Of course there are many more plants but these are the easiest to recognize.
